Norman B. Meiskey IV of Columbia, PA, texted a man “Satan," saying that he was “really bleeding,” and “saving the best for last," on Feb. 18, as stated in the release by Manheim Township police on Feb. 28, 2023, and confirmed in court documents.
The township police were called to the 200 block of Pleasure Road on the night of Feb. 22, 2023, according to the release.
Upon arrival, the victims showed the officers the blood and marks, "there was blood smeared on both the front and back doors of the home," the police say. "The damage to (the) vehicle included the following: both side mirrors broken off, deep scratches in the front right rear window, front and rear tires punctured, deep scratches along the passenger side of the vehicle, a puncture through the sheet metal of the front passenger door, a blood-smeared “X” on the driver’s window, scratches on the passenger side window, and the word “WHORE” scratched into the paint across the hood approximately 28 inches in length."
The estimated cost of the damage is between $5-10,000, according to the police. The reason for this incident was not released publicly.
Meiskey was arrested on charges of criminal mischief, loitering, and prowling at night time, the police say and court records confirm.
He was released on $10,000 unsecured bail, according to the release.
His preliminary hearing has been set before Magisterial District Judge David L. Ashworth on March 2, at 10:50 a.m., according to his court docket.
